Call me a voyeur, but I just love peeking in other people’s homes – sometimes inspiring, sometimes surprising but always fascinating. I think you can learn so much about a person by seeing their nest.
Last year my friend and fellow blogger, Cheeseslave, featured my kitchen in her Real Food Kitchen Tours, and I bared my sanctuary to the cyber world.
Since then we’ve ripped out a little pony wall (to the left of the oven), added an awesome tall pantry cabinet, and finally repaired a giant hole in the wood floor where the wall formerly stood. I still dream of a tidy tiled backsplash and some hooks from the ceiling to hang my draining yogurt and cheese (hint, hint honey!). Oh, and an electrical fence to keep my kids out from underfoot when I’m frying bacon! But other than that, i do love my kitchen so.

I like that I have most of the tools that I want in my kitchen. Hate everything else. It is too narrow and cheaply made. Need and upgrade on the fridge and stove~out of budget right now. I would love to expand and make a patio out the kitchen except that it is facing the road.

I love my small appliances but I hate my counter space and cupboards. Too many appliances and not enough space to use them!
